The cover and back cover design is by Smith Lumen
Negativity, anxiety, stress, worries: more and more often, our lives are prisoners of darkness, and our minds are limited by rules and labels that tower over us like a great judging eye. But it is through darkness that we can appreciate light, and so the message is to change perspective, to look on the bright side of things, to pass the narrow confines in which we are locked, to follow our passions and dreams and enter a world of light, colour and beauty. Smith Lumen has been an ideal portal leading from darkness to light, from negativity to an explosion of positivity and confidence, to allow you to spread some of this colourful joy around you by sticking it here and there with fun and positive stickers. Because creativity requires optimism because without positivity there is no light, beauty, or future. Let us spread the joy of life. Let us not be discouraged. Ab umbra lumen.

Sticker paper
Re-Play Martele White WS FSC™ Re-Play is the new range of Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives materials whose front is made of glassine, the siliconised paper substrate that is discarded once separated from the label. This is a concrete example of upcycling in which the final material has a higher value than the original. This range benefits the environment and maximises the value of silicone paper, a high-quality material made from the purest fibres with valuable mechanical properties.
Printing and die-cutting
The back cover is printed in four colours with cold silver and full-colour acrylic varnish plus embossing. The sticker sheet is digitally printed in four colours with holographic digital metallisation applied. The self-adhesive sheet was sent to SEI Laser, which used the PaperOne 3500 system to perform the half-cutting of the templates; this made it possible to produce very intricately designed stickers automatically and entirely digitally.
The finishing on the back cover
The leading player of the metallised elements is silver Kurz KPS Slim 2.0. Thanks to the overprinting, the cold effect acquires different colour tones and thus makes all graphics bright and colourful. The KPS Slim 2.0 is a unique offering in terms of release ability, guarantees perfect uniformity of coverage on print applications, and is highly versatile and sustainable. Dry embossing on some elements lends three-dimensionality to the design.
The finishing on the sticker sheet
The metallised elements were applied digitally with Kurz's DM-Smartliner. The Kurz DIGITAL METAL® LASER holographic transfer product was subsequently overprinted to take on different colours, each with a distinct iridescent nuance.
